Is this a subscription or a one-time purchase?

It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You buy a lifetime Detective License once and it never expires. The license also includes future paid cases we release, at no extra cost. There are no recurring charges.

I paid but can't access the cases. What do I do?

This usually happens when the purchase was made anonymously, before signing in. Sign in with any account, reopen a locked case, and click Get License to claim your purchase. If you're still locked out, email support@sqlnoir.com and we'll sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund, and we'll help any unhappy customer even after that window. Just email support@sqlnoir.com.

Why is the price different in my country?

We use fair purchasing-power pricing. The price is automatically adjusted to the local purchasing power of your country, so it may differ from what others see. This is intentional, not a bug.

Which cases are free?

The first two cases are free to play. The remaining cases require a Detective License.

Can I play offline?

You can work on a case in your browser without a connection, but checking your answers requires an internet connection.

Do you offer team, classroom, or education licenses?

Yes, with discounts. Email support@sqlnoir.com for a quote and we'll set you up.
